Autismo Mille Opportunità is an association based in Campania, active throughout the country. It was born with the aim of offering concrete support to families experiencing the reality of autism, through the organization of dedicated projects and events, as well as providing useful guidance and tools for dealing with the most complex moments.
The association also promotes the creation of a support network between families, encouraging discussion and the sharing of experiences, emotions, and effective solutions. A landmark where no one feels alone, but part of a community that helps and grows together.
Logo Design
To create the logo “AMO”, an acronym for Autismo Mille Opportunità, I chose to start from the symbol that most universally represents love: the heart.
The shape of the heart actually recalls the shape of a child’s head. Within it, an intertwining of colors develops that alternate and connect with each other, representing the multiplicity of aspects and facets that characterize the autism spectrum. A complex whole, made up of different dynamics, unique perceptions and deep sensibilities.
The chromatic interweaving evokes, on the one hand, the sense of disorientation that families can often experience initially, like a seemingly difficult ball to untie. On the other, it symbolizes a universe rich in possibilities: a reality that, once understood and welcomed, transforms into a new world to be known, explored, and valued.
